ABOUT CHANELE- MA BRANDON MENTOR / by Evey Sekajipo

I am Chanele Patton, I work for Amazon fulfillment center. I chose to be a part of Mama Africana because I know that God has called me to make a difference in the lives of young women.  As an adult I am seeing how important it was for me to have leaders in my life as a young woman teaching me things that I now use in my everyday life. It is because of the things that were instilled in me at a young age that has caused me to be set apart from other young women.

My biggest dream for the young women of Mama Africana is that they will walk away knowing the truth about who they are. I want to see them empowering other women to embrace their identity in Christ as well. I want them to know that they are difference makers; they are valuable and have a voice that needs to be heard. I want them to discover their worth in Christ and stay grounded in that truth for the rest of their lives. I want to see these young women go on to pour into others just as they have been poured into here with Mama Africana.
